He started
writing seriously in the early 1960's. As is the case
with so many writers, Casisi felt a confinement from
which he had to escape. In the early 1970's he made it
to the shores of North America where he held down a
variety of jobs, from a goldminer in obscure parts of
the province of Ontario to teacher and guidance
counselor in the high schools of different Canadian
provinces, to teacher and guidance counselor in inner
city schools of New York City. His love of writing and
his travels combine to make No Apologies a most
interesting book.
